Toward the end of the 2025 season, I was called up from the U19 to the senior team right in the middle of a tight championship race.

This made 2025 the highlight of my career so far: With the Minden Wolves I not only celebrated the Regionalliga NRW championship title, but was also part of the team that went on to win the playoffs and earn promotion to the GFL 2. Gaining valuable snaps on the field during such a critical phase was an incredible experience.

On a personal level, the season was crowned with the "Defensive Rookie of the Year" award and my first championship ring. From the 2026 season onward, the challenge is now to hold our own at the level of the German Football League 2.

Starting my apprenticeship as an aviation electronics technician in Bückeburg in 2024 marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life. Giving up American football was never an option.

I researched clubs in the region and came across the Minden Wolves. A quick message via Instagram was all it took: I was invited for a trial session immediately, and after that first practice, I knew I was in the right place.

In the Wolves' U19 team, I didn't just find a new squad, but a true sporting home where I could continue my passion at a high level.

After returning from Michigan, one thing was clear: American Football was here to stay.

Back in my hometown, I was welcomed into the senior team of my former club, the Vorpommern Vandals. As a linebacker, I gained valuable competitive experience in the Landesliga Nord Ost (5th league level) and developed my game in an environment that both challenged and supported me as a player. Playing in front of a home crowd at the Volksstadion Greifswald, with my family and friends in the stands, taught me to keep a cool head in decisive moments.

What an exciting year in Michigan, USA! Right in the middle of it: real American high school football.

With the Akron-Fairgrove Vikings I gained experience at three different positions and witnessed firsthand how this sport is lived in its home country. I loved the daily practice sessions and the Friday night games. A special honor was being selected as Kicker for the ‚All-NCTL First Team Offense‘. I also had the opportunity to watch my favorite teams live in their home stadiums: the Lions in Detroit and the Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor.

Most importantly: I found friends for life, and they are the reason I keep coming back to Michigan.

          Forever A Viking!

After trying out fencing, soccer, and tennis, a trial session with the Vandals brought me straight to American football.

Three years of flag football have shown me what defines this sport: true team spirit and fairness despite the physical demands. I am fascinated by the growing complexity of a sport that becomes more interesting the deeper you dive into the tactics.
